The St.Gregorios Orthodox Church Society (Regd.) Udaipur has had a meritorious history for decades of imparting quality education at school level. The St.Gregorios Sr. Sec. School, Udaipur run by the Society is one of the top most Christian institutions in Udaipur in the CBSE pattern and we have completed more than 30 years of glorious service in the education arena of Udaipur. Over the years, there had been request from various quarters that the Church Society should extend its services to the field of Higher Education as well. Now, a long pending demand, a long cherished dream has become materialized through the inauguration of “St.Gregorios College, Udaipur” on 4th March 2011,by the President of the Society and Supreme head of Indian orthodox Church, His Holiness Baselios Mar Thoma Paulose II.

This college is named after ‘St.Gregorios of Parumala’, a Great Saint, Visionary and Educationist of the 19th Century. St.Gregorios pioneered in founding many Schools in Kerala in 1850’s to facilitate the primary education and English teaching without discriminating gender or religion. The projects and institutions owned and managed by St.Gregorios Orthodox Church Society (Regd.), Udaipur is an extension of St. Gregorios’ vision and mission.

St.Gregorios College is a self-financed Christian Minority College owned and managed by St.Gregorios Orthodox Church Society (Regd.) Udaipur; affiliated to Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur and approved and recognized by Ministry of Higher Education Rajasthan. It is a co-ed college and the medium of instruction is English.

Along with academic excellence, St.Gregorios College wishes to uphold and impart moral and spiritual values to its students. The integral development of personality is the prime goal of the College, which it hopes to achieve through effective teaching and various co-curricular as well as extra-curricular activities. The College aims at promoting national integration by bringing together students belonging to different linguistic, religious and social backgrounds.
